Wire Hangers! Wire Hangers!

In an effort to create a cleaner, more uniform shopping environment we will only be accepting hanging items that are on a wire hanger. You can get these for free at most dry cleaners, just ask or you can order 500 for approximately $20 from Norton Supply here. They also have the hangers with the paper over the top, for a few cents more per hanger, which make hanging pants and outfits very simple. For sizes under 4T we recommend the 16" hangers instead of the 18" hangers. Here are some suggestions for hanging items on wire hangers

Pants: If you are not using the caped hangers (covered in white paper, which we highly recommend for pants) please place a piece of tape over the safety pin that you have used to attach your pants to the hanger. This keeps the pants looking neat by not allowing them to slide around. Neatness always sells first!

Outfits: Again, use only a wire hanger. Caped (covered in white paper) hangers work great for outfits. Place the shirt on the hanger so the hook of the hanger faces left (looks like a question mark). Then turn the hanger over and place the top of the bottoms on top of the hanger with the front of the pant facing out. Safety pin the waistband of the pant to the shoulder of the shirt, making sure to catch the hanger on both sides. This method of hanging outfits looks very neat and allows the shopper to see both pieces with little effort.

Drop-N-Go Appointments

We are excited to add several "DROP-N-GO" drop off appointments. "DROP-N-GO" appointments are designed for consignors that would benefit from dropping their items off and pick any unaccepted items up later rather than waiting then. All "DROP-N-GO" consignors can pick up their unaccepted items anytime the next day. Any items that are not picked up will be given to the Good Samaritan Network on Tuesday evening. "DROP-N-GO" appointments are limited so sign up early if this would benefit you.

Updates to "What's Accepted"

Indy Kids Sale will no longer be accepting breast pumps, pacifiers or stuffed animals of any kind. We have also updated our teen sizing. Ang clothing item over size 12 will now be considered a teen item and will fall under the "10 item max" rule for teen clothing. Husband Shifts

"Husband" shifts have now been added to the volunteer opportunities. They will help you get to 70% just like "presale," "high-volume" and "re-sort".

Maximums & Minimums New Item Limit of 200 Hanging Items

In an effort to continue to have great quality items to offer to our shoppers IKC has put a limit on the number of hanging items that one consignor can put in the sale. Each consignor can now consign a maximum of 200 hanging items. There is no limit to toys or equipment.

A minimum of 30 items in required to be a consignor.

Safety First

Together we can ensure that the items that our shoppers are buying are safe. We will now ask all of our consignors to sign a recall waiver.

VIP Presale Tickets for Sale
