Accepted Items

Consignor minimum is 30 items with a max of 200 hanging items
(there is no limit on toys and equipment.)

 

Clothing size infant – pre-teen (any item over size 12 will be considered "teen")

Clothing that is current in style (think no more than five years old when choosing clothing for the sale), pajamas (must be in excellent condition), accessories, jackets, costumes, etc. Shoes must be in new or like new condition (it is our experience that shoes that are worn will not sell).

We only take seasonal clothing items (see list below for items not accepted).

Kids/Baby toys

Most types of toys are accepted. Games, dolls, puzzles, barbies, action figures, rattles, etc. Stuffed animals are NOT accepted.

Baby Gear

Strollers, carseats (must meet requirements below) swings, exersaucers, bouncy seats, baby carriers, high chairs, Johnny jumpers, bumbo seats,etc.

Linens

Crib Sheets, Crib Sets (bumpers will only be accepted as a part of a set), kids sheet sets, comforters, blankets (handmade blankets will not be accepted), window treatments, etc.

Outdoor Play Equipments

Yard toys, riding toys, wagons, bicycles, scooters, sandboxes, little tykes play sets, swings, etc.

Baby Items

Diaper bags, changing pads, potty seats, bath tubs, bottles (bottles that are brown or yellow from wear will not be accepted), dishes, feeding equipment, nursing items, boppy pillows (excellent condition) etc.

Furniture and Accessories

Kids/infant furniture (cribs will NOT be accepted), dressers, table and chairs, rockers, changing tables, pictures, lamps (must have light bulb), décor, etc.

Books, Videos, Music

All books (no torn pages, writing or chewed edges accepted), DVDs, Computer games, Music CD's, etc

Maternity

Each consignor can bring a maximum of 10 pieces of maternity clothing. Only clothing that is current and purchased w/in the last two years will be accepted. If it is not current and in excellent condition it will NOT sell!

Teen Items (anything over size 12)

Click here for list of accepted items. Each consignor can bring a maximum of 10 pieces of teen clothing.  Any clothing item that is above a size 12 will be considered a teen item and will be counted towards your maximum of 10 items.

Sports Equipment

Any sports equipment that children to teen would use. Must be in good condition.

 

Additional Information

  • PLEASE BRING YOUR CLOTHING ORGANIZED BY GENDER AND BY SIZE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.
  • There is a max of 200 hanging items per consignor number.
  • Every item will be checked-in during drop-off and any unacceptable items will be sent home with the consignor. Please don't be offended if we ask you to take back some of your items. We will be screening very closely so as to maintain the quality of the sale.  It is often easy to miss a spot or tear when you are getting your items ready at home. We want to be known for having quality merchandise and we want our  shoppers to have confidence that they are buying quality items at the Indy Kids Sale.
    It is the consignors responsibility to not submit items that have been recalled or damaged. Please review our recall waiver, print, sign and bring a copy to your drop off appointment. Please visit our safety and recall page for more information.

  • We do not accept any cribs. We will only accept crib mattresses if they are with a toddler bed and it is clearly printed on the tag "mattress is free with bed purchase."

  • SPRING - Heavy Winter Coats, Winter Hats, Gloves, Boots, Sweaters, Heavy Fleece Items

  • FALL - Swimsuits, Shorts, Tank Tops, Flip Flops, Sandals

  • ANYTHING STAINED

  • DAMAGED

  • WORN-OUT

  • OUT OF CURRENT STYLE

  • RECALLED ITEMS

  • BROKEN ITEMS

  • CHILDREN'S JEWELRY

  • PACIFIERS

  • VHS Tapes

  • BREAST PUMPS

  • STUFFED ANIMALS

  • BUMPERS (we will accept bumpers if they are with a set)

  • NURSING PAJAMAS

  • OPENED PACKAGES OF LITTLE GIRL'S PLAY MAKE-UP

  • GRAB BAGS

  • PARTIALLY USED CRAFT PRODUCTS

PLEASE SELECT YOUR ITEMS CAREFULLY AS EVERYTHING IS CHECKED AT DROP-OFF. If something is missed at drop off and later is found to not be acceptable, it will be pulled from the sale.  We reserve the right to refuse any item that we feel may not sell.

 

Recalls & Products Safety

PLEASE NOTE:  It is the CONSIGNOR'S RESPONSIBILITY , as seller of the items, to make sure none of their items have been recalled. At drop-offs, each consignor will be required to bring a signed recall waiver accepting the liability of the items they bring, and stating they have ensured that none of their items are recalled or do not meet safety standards. The waiver, along with the recall lists & safety standards are on our website under "Product Safety & Recalls" .

  • Car seats more than 5 years old (to the date of the sale), recalled, damaged, in an accident or unclean will not be accepted. Visit www.carseat.org for info. Please note, the carseat waiver is now a part of the recall waiver that each consignor must print, sign and bring with them to their drop off appointment.

  • We do not accept underwear or nursing bras unless they are brand new with the tags (we will accept nursing tanks if they are in excellent condition). 

 

Picking Up Unsold Items

Items that do not sell during the sale will be available for pick-up on Sunday after the sale from 10am-2pm.

The pick-up location is the same as the drop off location. Your items will be together and must be picked up by 2pm or they will be donated.
