•  We are excited to announce that our sale will now be three days with extended hours. IKC will now be open on Thursday from 9am-7pm, Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturday from 9am-1pm.

•  By combining volunteer opportunities (all volunteer shifts are limited) and shopper referral opportunities consignors can now make up to 75% commission.

•  You can get the latest news and info from IKC by becoming a fan of the IKC facebook page.

•  We have added some volunteer opportunities for husbands. If your husband is willing and available to help out in a volunteer role the hours that he serves will go towards your hours.

•  Shopping credit for referring a consignor, who consigns a minimum of 30 items, is $10 and there is no limit to the amount of consignors that you can refer.

• We were thrilled with the amount of diapers that our consignors and shoppers brought for the Indy Kids Diaper Drop. We will be continuing this project to again support and help out a great ministry that the Bethel Lutheran Baby Pantry provides.

• Updated Tagging and Presentation Infomation

1. Attach tags with a safety pin (safety pins should be vertical - this saves a ton of time at check-out) or use a tagging gun. Tagging guns are great and very inexpensive. They can be ordered online.

2. When tagging toys put all pieces to the toy in a Ziploc bag, DO NOT tape the top closed. We will inspect all the toys to make sure pieces are included. We will then tape the ziploc bag closed and and tape it to the larger item if there is one. We ask that you please note on the tag if a few pieces are missing. Most people do not mind buying items that have a couple missing pieces but some people who are expecting certain pieces to be with a toy are disappointed when they get home and discover that the pirate ship doesn't have the cannons or the pirate to go with it. Please be courteous to our shoppers so they look forward to returning to the IKC sale!

3. Anything needing a battery must have a working battery in place for it to be consigned. Pick-up cheapies at the dollar store. All electronic toys will be checked at check-in if there is no battery they will be sent home with you and will not be accepted if they are not working properly.
